NAAAP TIME OUT THURSDAYS - Rocketbar

Tired of the same meat-market happy hours and mixers? Been to one happy hour and see all the same people? Not sure what to talk about? Then take a TIME OUT and come to our weekly NAAAP-DC Happy Hour!

This week we'll be at Rocketbar for speakeasy conversations, rightly priced drinks, and interesting company. This will be a weekly event and who knows who you will meet! Bring anyone and everyone for a much more cozy and audible exchange of words, drinks, and food. This week we're going to just chill and hang out.

Rocketbar has 7 HDTVs, pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, a jukebox, boardgames, and 2 full bars! Rocketbar Specials: $3 PBR Cans$4 Miller Lite, Bud Light, Budweiser, Miller High Life Bottles & Miller Lite Drafts, $5 Rail Drinks, $5 House Wine

Halloween Masquerade Ball
Friday, October 26, 2007, starting at 10 p.m. EST

The event will be located at the Karma Restaurant and Lounge, located at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue NW (corner of 19th and I streets and also a block away from Farragut West station)

Price: $10 for Ladies, $20 for Gentlemen on the guest list, $25 at the door

Tired of going to the same old Halloween party? Do you like an element of mystery in your evening? Then come attend the most alluring and exotic Halloween party in D.C. at Karma Restaurant and Lounge. Costumes are encouraged, and you are welcome to bring your own masks. If you don't have one, do not fear, we will provide them for you at the door a no cost.

Emperor Vodka is sponsoring the event, and there will be drink specials all night long.

Early Bird Drink Specials (from 10 - 11pm) - $7 Emperor's Cocktail, $5 Yuengling bottles

We will also be giving out door prizes, free passes, and treats all evening. In addition, we have a special performer who will attend the event. So, start getting your costumes and friends together to attend this allegorical costume pageant.

Fall is upon us! The perfect weather to enjoy a glass of wine with good friends, have a picnic outside, and see the wonderful foliage of the Shenandoah Valley.

Please come join us at Rappahannock Cellars (http://www.rappahannockcellars.com/) for a wonderful winery tour, wine tasting, and picnic catered by a local restaurant. Afterward, for those who choose to, a nice drive through the Shenandoah valley / Skyline drive to view the fall scenery (http://www.visitshenandoah.org/.

Price: Members - $25, Non-Members - $29 - including the wine tasting, tour, and lunch (not including the entrance fee to Shenandoah National Park).
